Oxygen Life Church

A church devoted to loving Jesus, building His church,

and taking the Gospel to the nations

Who We are

We want to be authentic Christians, like the ones we see in the book of Acts.
That means Jesus is the centre, and we’re devoted to Him and to each other. Oxygen Life Church is a family aiming together to see lives transformed through and for Jesus. This happens through being part of a healthy family of believers living out their faith together, showing something of the character of God on this earth. As we grow together, lay down our lives for God and each other, sacrifice for each other and reach out to the world around us, we live out what healthy church is meant to be. We not only want to see people born again, but we want to make sure that we’re all being disciples, bringing our gifts and abilities to build up others, all of us together growing up to be like Jesus,
glorifying the Father, and walking by His Holy Spirit.

What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority in every area of life and faith.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists externally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to live on mission and display His Kingdom on earth.

Our Church Plants

In the New Testament, we see that the Gospel advanced not only through preaching, but through the concurrent planting of churches. Oxygen Life was planted out of a larger base church, and we ourselves have a history and culture of sending people to establish plants or assist existing churches. If we’re aiming at being a healthy church, we should also aim at replicating that pattern in our own regions and throughout the nations. Several believers have been sent out from among us to plant churches in other regions, and we continue our relationship and partnership with them as we see the Kingdom of God advance through church plants!

We’re Part Of Four12

In the Bible we see that churches didn’t function in isolation; they were connected to each other through genuine relationships, not loose networks. According to the pattern in the New Testament, local churches worked together in partnership with apostolic leaders to build healthy churches and plant new ones, and that is what we are doing in the field of churches known as Four12. As a global partnership of churches in Four12, we aim together to Equip, Restore and Advance the church through genuine relationships between churches that God has brought together and a connection through the Spirit, rather than just under a common banner.
